Mark Patron, CEO
Mark has been involved with RedEye since 2004. First as a non-executive director he helped the company grow by introducing e-rm and optimum.web to the company before being appointed CEO in 2006. Previously Mark was MD of Claritas, now part of Acxiom, which he built over 14 years into the UK’s leading lifestyle data business, with 350 staff and over £30m revenues. He was a non-executive director of Transactis and Chairman of Abacus Europe, the data division of DoubleClick and now part of Epsilon.
Matthew Kelleher, Chief Commercial Officer
Matthew Kelleher joined RedEye in 2006. A Masters graduate in Economics from the LSE, Matthew worked for Acxiom for 16 years, starting at NDL, Claritas and most latterly Acxiom. He undertook a variety of divisional director roles, most notably launching Claritas Interactive in 1999 and overseeing its European development. A founder member of the DMA Email Council, Matthew is responsible at RedEye for the service and delivery of email solutions for all clients as well as for the growth of the business.
Garry Lee, Chief Operations Officer
Garry Lee has worked in online analytics for over 10 years. He began client side using the original WebTrends products and has spent the past 9 years with RedEye focusing on online behavioural services and segmentation. During this time Garry produced the first UK results from analytic driven behavioural email, led industry setting analysis tracking technologies and launched a leading media attribution system – Media Mix. Garry is a professional member of the Web Analytics Association.
Tim Roe, Director of Data and Deliverability
Tim has over 20 years direct marketing experience, Tim’s current focus is the analysis and use of customer data to gain valuable insight into the behaviour of clients customers, leading to improved segmentation, targeting and increased ROI. Tim’s experience covers the main vertical markets including travel, retail, finance and gaming. Tim is a member of the email council of the Direct Marketing Association and a Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing. Tim is also a contributor to the Best practice and Legal Hub of the DMA’s email council.
Alan Burns, Chief Technical Officer
Alan started his career in IT at the Science and Engineering Research Council, researching computer networking on the project that created The Internet. In 1979, he joined Systems Designers Ltd (now EDS, an HP company) as a programmer on the first commercial packet-switching network for the Deutsche Bundespost. After 11 years Alan co-founded an eCommerce Solutions company which he ran for 12 years. Alan joined RedEye in 2003.
Maria Alves-Schemetow, VP of Marketing
Maria joined RedEye in 2011 during the US office test. She is an accomplished marketing communication executive and has led marketing teams in banking, credit union and travel sectors. She is a member of the American Marketing Association and eMarketing Association and is a graduate of The William Paterson University of NJ with a B.A. in communication. She is also the recipient of Best in Show honors for the NJ/IABC IRIS Awards for her work on the Howard Johnson Hotels Wags to Whiskers Pet Program. Maria is responsible for all marketing and communication activities and increasing brand awareness and market share in the US.
Shannon Smith, VP of Business Development
Shannon joined RedEye in 2011 as their first US Business Development team member. With a diversified background in marketing, sales and business development, Shannon leverages these competencies to enhance business performance, revenues and market share. Utilizing his strengths in new business development and marketing, Shannon previously co-founded Cosch Brands, an incubator for developing and launching online and offline brands. Shannon holds a Master’s in Economics from NYU and is pursuing his MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Management.
Bill McGowan, VP of Business Development
Bill started his Direct Marketing career in 1994 with Architectural Digest as well as other publishers such as Gruner & Jhar, Times Mirror and Time Inc. Then he joined RL Polk working with auto manufacturers such as BMW, JLR, Ford, Volvo, Mazda and Mercedes-Benz. Prior to joining RedEye in 2011, he worked for industry leaders such as Equifax and Epsilon creating global marketing solutions both on and offline from concept to execution. He is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology in Manhattan.
Mary Beth Cusenza, Director of Client Services
Mary Beth joined RedEye in August of 2012. She has 20 years of marketing and sales experience with a strong background in Healthcare and Interactive Marketing. She founded Veracite Solutions Marketing in 2009 to provide Integrated Multi-Channel Marketing solutions for her customers. She successfully implemented multi-channel marketing campaigns that enabled her clients to develop and grow their customer relationships through effective CRM.
Nick Cusenza, Manager of Business Development
Nick started working with the RedEye US Business Development team in December 2012. He is responsible for identifying and fostering new partnerships with organizations interested in taking their online customer engagement to the next level with behavioral email. Nick earned his degree in Economics from Rutgers University.
