Video: RedEye VIP Day Client Testimonials

June 6th 2019 not only marked the 75th  anniversary of the Normandy Landings in World War II, it also saw us host our annual VIP Client Day at none other then the Churchill War Rooms.

Filled with external speakers and valuable input from our clients, the day was both informative and inspiring. But don't just take our word for it. Watch the the two videos below to see how some of our clients found the day as well as how they've found working with RedEye.

I’m Craig Ashford, I’m the Sales and Marketing Director of the TravelUp group and we’re an online travel agent that predominantly sells hotels, flights and package holidays.

What are you taking away from the RedEye VIP Day?

Here at the RedEye VIP event it’s been absolutely fantastic, a brilliant venue certainly on a prestigious day as today with the D-Day landings. It’s been absolutely fantastic the major thing that I’ll be taking away will be the difference between personalisation and individualisation. I think that’s certainly key for us in the marketing that we deal with and understanding our consumers and not necessarily chasing down what we believe the consumer is about, who they are, what their dog’s name is etc. It’s about really understanding when they’re looking to purchase, if their looking purchase or if they’re just within that research phase because we all know in traveling there’s a huge amount of research that goes in before the actual purchase. That’s something that I think TravelUp as a whole needs to focus on moving forward.

What are your key impressions of working with RedEye?

Working with RedEye has been absolutely fantastic, historically we really want to focus on our email strategy, our CRM so with RedEye has been absolutely great. I think you guys have made us push the boundaries on what’s available to us and we’re currently working on our customer journey with you guys which I have a feeling will give us a great increase on our repeat customers.

What are you taking away from the RedEye VIP Day?

Oh, today has been absolutely brilliant, I mean not least for the venue. It’s been so unique and interesting; the talks have genuinely really inspired me. They’ve introduced me to quite a few features of RedEye that I either didn’t know about or was not familiar with which I can’t wait to get my teeth into when I get back to HQ and I also found the talks were really encouraging. Particularly Rusty, I’ve gone away from that talk with quite a few ideas that again I look forward to exploring when I get back to the office.

What are your key impressions of working with RedEye?

I find working with RedEye a very positive experience. I find that when I do face problems, my account manager is very quick to find a solution and to help me understand new processes. We are fairly new clients, but we have very high hopes and expect to see some big results soon based on the accuracy we’ve seen already.
