Sustainability at RedEye

We like to leave work knowing our impact on the environment is minimal and that we are doing our part to influence and inform how technology businesses can operate sustainably in the future.

By choosing RedEye you know you’re working with a responsible partner. Win/win.

What we've done...

As a business providing technology services, our biggest environmental impact results from carbon emissions, and that is why we have focused our resources into becoming Net Zero, certified against the PAS 2060 standard.

Along this journey, we’ve joined the UNFCCC Climate Neutral Now initiative, pledged our commitment with the SME Climate Hub and joined Tech Zero.

These initiatives have provided the goals, guidance, and information necessary to be ambitious with our actions; allowing us to maintain PAS 2060 certification since 2022, verifying our carbon neutrality.

Developing talent and flexible working

This has included some significant changes:

  • We moved to remote working to consolidate our office space to the minimum required.
  • We minimised employee travel, leveraging virtual meetings where possible.
  • We’ve been overhauling our datacentre to make operational efficiencies.
  • We’ve been working with suppliers to measure our impact and encourage wider adoption.

Where we're going...

Besides maintaining our commitment, we are actively trying to support other businesses in their journey by sharing our experiences. We are also evolving our environmental management system to identify other areas in which we can improve our sustainability.

Our accreditations...

See our Compliance and Accreditations page for more information on the PAS 2060 standard and the various initiatives we are involved with.

How can you help?

By choosing suppliers and partners who have made a commitment we can gradually work towards a brighter future together. We can also encourage those that haven’t to begin their journey.

If sustainability is a core requirement from enough customers and employees, businesses can’t help but shift their priorities.

You could do this by:

  • Promoting sustainability internally, encouraging your business to get more involved.
  • Asking about supplier sustainability in your supplier questionnaires.
  • Raising awareness of these initiatives and your actions on social media.
  • Focus on the big issues by measuring and reducing your impact.
